Janine Stromberg.
New Yorker by birth, Londoner by choice, I’ve been working as a designer since 2000. (Phew that’s a long time ago!)
I help companies develop their identity, communicate their story and grow their business through ideas-led design. Throughout my extensive career, I have gathered experience across many different disciplines of design including advertising, publishing, digital, public relations, marketing for the arts and branding. I have worked on huge global brands and small start-ups, with luxury fashion houses and not-for-profit charities, and with budgets big and small and even won a couple of awards. This variety of experience has given me a unique and holistic approach to briefs. Oh, I also have a thing for SIGNS.
Here are nine facts about me…
+ To signify the civil partnership law coming into effect, I created an IMAGE that was projected onto the House of Commons and was featured on the front page of The Guardian and The New York Times.
+ My addiction to snapping photos has resulted in my work being featured on the SCHMAP guide.
+ You could very well have heard my voice on NME radio. Unfortunately, I can’t get you backstage.
+ I have appeared on RICHARD and JUDY, but never got round to joining their book club.
+ My likeness has been used in the films Music & Lyrics, The Women and I Am Legend.
+ My voice has been sampled in a techno song called 'Shopping in the Ghetto' by SYNTHETIC PLEASURES.
+ I met Bill Clinton. And no, there wasn’t any funny business.
+ I've won a Congressional Art award and my work was displayed at the Nassau County Museum of Art.
+ At the tender age of 10, I helped name the space shuttle ENDEAVOUR. Yes really.
